Here Comes Santa Clause

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Kmart for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I can't believe it's September. Before you know the Holiday shopping will commence (if it hasn't already), ifyou're anything like me you do everything last minute. I learned this from my Mom. She works full time and has seven kids so she rarely had time to shop. The also liked to only use my Dad's bonus for Christmas shopping which only came in a week or so before the Christmas which left her to do everything last minute whether she wanted to or not.

Another thing I got from my Mom? Buyer's remorse. There is something about spending so much money at one time that makes me instantly feel guilty. It makes me want to return everything I just bought even if it's important or necessary.

This year I plan to ease my buyer's remorse by utilizing free layaway at Kmart! Another reason why I want to do layaway for my holiday gifts? Kmart's Big Layaway Giveaway

It's really easy to enter just put your items on layaway and every week from 9/9/2012-11/17/12 you have the chance to have the remaining balance of your layaway paid for! I would be beyond thrilled if I was one of the lucky winners!

Top of my list for Holiday Gifts This Year:

For Mason:

VTech Switch and Go Dinos (Review and Giveaway coming soon)

For B:

A Fire Pit, he's always wanted one!

As for me?

I would love a Ninja Kitchen Set:

Besides the immediate family (B and Mason) I also have to look for things for my siblings! My head hurts just thinking about it. Luckily the KMart layaway plans seems like the perfect solution. There are so many perks other than the giveaway:

As you can see KMart seems to be the place to go for layway especially when holiday shopping for kids gifts which I'm sure many of us are doing.

I’m glad to see that places like Kmart still offer layaway. This is a great way for families to plan and start early.

I remember my mom doing layaway when I was growing up! I didn’t think stores even did them anymore! I love the idea, since we don’t buy anything that we don’t have the cash to buy, so layaway is a better option then credit cards. No jiggle-bills later! 🙂

I’ve never used layaway. I think it’s a great idea, but I’m always shopping around for the best prices and better deals. Most of the time I end up buying products when they’re on Clearance, because I’m cheap like that. I could maybe see myself using layaway for gifts though.

I never realized how “shopper friendly” KMart is! I guess that will have to be on my list of places to shop this year. I haven’t even started thinking about what toys to buy P yet. 🙂
