Barilla Microwavable Meals R&G

I feel like days go by so quickly most days. One thing is 7am and we’re reluctantly starting our day and the next it’s 12pm and wondering what the heck we’re going to make for lunch. Being in the 1st trimester isn’t helping the lunch process at all. I’m not in the mood to cook at all. I used to make Mason homemade Bacon and Ranch Mac & Cheese with Broccoli and now the though of bacon cooking (which I love) makes me a little sick to my stomach.

So lately my go to lunch has been PB&J sandwiches, apples with cheese and other easy items that involve little to no cooking. I was thrilled when I got the chance to try out the new Barilla Microwavable Pasta bowls finally I was going to be able to switch it up a little!

There are 5 different flavors available

B, Mason and I all had a little for lunch the other day B had the spicy marinara and I had the classic marinara. Mason had some of mine. I love how easy it was to make.

You just peel back the wrapper to the line

and pop into the microwave for 60 seconds

When it’s done you just remove the sauce tray, pour it over the pasta and enjoy!

We all enjoyed it, especially Mason, he loves pasta!

What’s interesting about these is that they don’t have to be kept in the fridge, just in your cabinet or if you’re working at work in your drawer! They also have

  • 100% Natural Ingredients
  • No Preservatives
  • 320 Calories per meal
  • Two Whole Grain Options

My work is never predictable…so if I try to sit down for a great meal, it just might not work out because an emergency may come up. I need things that are quick and easy and ready whenever I am to eat.

I work in customer service and sometimes I can run late on a call and into my lunch break and we still have to be back at our regular time so I need some quick, easy, good lunches to keep on hand in my locker for those days.

My husband only gets a 30 minute lunch, so quick is a must! As it gets chillier out a warm quick lunch is so much nicer than a cold sandwich! 🙂

Actually, my son needs them. He’s in college and his dorm doesn’t serve lunch (only breakfast and dinner) so if he’s in his dorm room around lunchtime, he could use these for a quick and easy lunch.
