Here at the Double G household the second it gets warm out we start grilling AT LEAST once a week. B think he’s a grill master and to further enrich our relationship I tell him daily that he is. Okay not daily but after every meal I make sure to tell him how AWESOME it is. Not only to boost his ego but also ensure that I don’t have to cook dinner every night.
Recently we’ve been trying to do EVERYTHING on the grill including our starch which usually ends up being a potato. Unfortunately cooking whole potatoes on the girl takes much longer than either of us would like. Luckily for us Ore-Ida has come up with a solution.
Preparation is super easy. They suggest that you heat the grill for 15 which is pretty common practice with us so that was perfectly fine. Then you cook them for about 7 minutes on each side. It really all depends on your grill though so keep an eye on it!
These are the seasoned thick cut potatoes just put on the grill! And these are them almost done!
Both B and I loved how quickly these were done. Much shorter than a whole potato! We tried both of them and while we really liked the seasoned potatoes we also like the plain ones that way we could season them to match whatever we’re eating that meal!
