Mason Monday

Last week we visited my parents, it was a good time, Mason loves spending time with my siblings!

He came back saying something that I KNOW he learned from Ava:

So conversations with Mason now go like this:

Me: Mason would you like to take a bath?

Mason: MOMMY, DADDY (points to TV) YAYAYAYAY Dora!!!!

It’s absolutely adorable!

You know what’s crazy in less than two months Mason is going to be TWO! TWO! I’m a little in shock. I mean I feel like we were just celebrating his 1st birthday yesterday not 10 months ago.

His vocabulary  is really growing too. The other day we did colors. He knows way more than I thought he did. Mason is a little bit of a perfectionist. He doesn’t like saying things unless he *knows* he can say it which is why I think with some words it’s taken him a bit longer than other kids.

Yesterday I took him to go see Santa at the co-op. I was thisclose to missing it and I’m so glad that I remembered since last year we took him as well. It’s like a tradition, go see Santa at the co-op. I caught a quick picture on my camera but it’s not every good:

Unfortunately that is a pretty accurate description of what Mason’s face will look like. I got myself a Santa crier.

On another semi random Mason thought, the kid does not eat for crap. Unless of course it’s carbs which includes cookies, pretzels, mashed potatoes and nothing else. It’s incredibly frustrating. I make him three meals a day with variety and he wants none of it. But give him something like Mac and Cheese and you would think the kid has a bottomless stomach.

Oh but he does eat Candy Canes, specifically year old Candy Canes. How do I know this? Because he’s attempted to eat 4 off of my Christmas Tree. I love Candy Canes on Christmas Trees but with a toddler who apparently only enjoys the taste of candy it’s not a good idea at all!

So I think that’s all for my random Mason Updates.

Are you a relative interested in knowing more about Mason? Please do leave a comment or (ZOMG) call me 🙂

Ummm you need to be super proud of him and his Santa face. Because mine? wouldn’t get within 10 feet of the man. Not even with bribes of new toy trains and candy. Santa even HAD A TRAIN TO GIVE HIM (from me) and it was a no go. He told me he didn’t want the train. He is super cute, and I’m glad you didn’t miss Santa!
