I Know, I know…

It’s not even Halloween yet, BUT I can’t help but let my mind wander to Christmas. Before we know it it’s going to be that time of the year again and it doesn’t help browsing Pinterest! I’m already seeing a ton of Christmas/Winter pins! I love it because it gets me thinking of all the things I need to do in order to prepare like crafts, recipes I want to try and gifts I want to make! This isn’t technically Winter or Christmas related but when I saw it I knew exactly what I wanted to do! I want to find an old window shutter like this, paint it white (or maybe red and green or a combo) and hang it up to display all my holiday cards! I think it would be SO cute and perfect!

I’m tempted to paint it white or new thought, maybe even black so that I can use it all year round. I just LOVE the idea!

Thinking about displaying Christmas Cards also got me thinking about the fact that I need to make mine! Last year I got my holiday cards from Tiny Prints. This year I’m going to get them from them again! I really like all the options that they have!

That’s really cute and unique! I just tape mine to the rail on the stairs, I like this alot better.

I LOVE that idea! Were boring and just stick them on the fridge & my mom tapes them on her front door lol 😉 I like your idea better!

OMG I love this idea. If you painted it white or black you could use it year round and display birthday cards as well as christmas cards…. ooh and vacation picutes. Okay the list does on. Now I want to do this!

This is such a cool idea….. wouldn’t quite work for Christmas Cards with us because we send and get way too many, lol. We hang them around the arch going from our living room to hallway. BUT I wanna do this! It would look cool hanging in the kitchen to clip snap shots and what not on 🙂 Oh no another project for the hubby…. hehe.

Love this idea! I’d probably do it a color that would match my home, so I could use it year round like you said. This is a way better idea than taping them all to my front door like I usually do! LOL!
