This Week: 133.2 

Total Weight lose: 2lbs!! 

Whew. Week 1 on NutriSystem is OVER! And I’m so excited with the results I’ve had so far! I think 2lbs is GREAT and I’m super excited to see what the coming weeks bring. And I was pleasantly surprised with how good everything has been! Granted there are some things that I wasn’t too fond of but we all have different taste buds so that’s to be expected! 

Here’s a little idea of what I ate all week. I’ll give you a hint. Lots and Lots of Fruits and Veggies!

Day 7: Cinnamon Bun, Chicken Noodle Soup, Chicken Pasta Parmesan 

For some reason I didn’t take any pictures of Day 6. That morning I had the most delicious breakfast bar ever it was the Cinnamon Bun Bar. YUM. I could eat like 30 of them! 

One thing I’ve noticed since starting NutriSystem besides eating smaller portion {way smaller portions by the way, I was totally over eating} is that I’ve been drinking more water than usual and having way more fruits and vegetables! 

If you noticed in all my breakfast shots I had an apple. In addition to the NutriSystem meals you’re also suppose to have “Grocery Items”. For example

  • NutriSystem Meal
  • A dairy OR protein 
  • Fruit 

  • NutriSystem Meal
  • Vegetable
  • Vegetable 
  • A protein OR dairy 

  • NutriSystem Meal
  • Fruit OR vegetable
  • Vegetable
  • Vegetable 
  • Fat

 You also get a snack which is a Fruit and a dairy OR protein and my favorite part of the day DESSERT! 

The desserts are so good! I love EVERYTHING mint and they have SO many Mint items, it’s great. My favorite desserts so far are the Mint Cookie Patty and the Mint Crunch Bar. YUM! Seriously heaven! 

My go to grocery staples this week have been carrots, lettuce, apples and hard boiled eggs! I’m a picky eater so these things work best for me! 

Favorite Breakfast: Cinnamon Bun Bar
Favorite Lunch: Chocolate Caramel Bar, the Mac and Cheese with Beef was good too!
Favorite Dinner: Chicken Alfredo {Frozen}

Least Favorite: Tie between the Sweet and Sour Noodles and the Beef and Noodles in Teriyaki Sauce. 

Lesson Learned: I don’t like Chinese Food as much as I thought because everything else was really enjoyable! I should have known this since all I usually get when I get Chinese Food is Chicken Lo Mein lol. 

This week I also worked out twice Wednesday and Thursday by walking! I think I walked a mile and a half on Wednesday and I walked a trail for about 20 minutes on Thursday. Not sure how long it was! But I’m getting active again so that’s good! 

Okay so that was longer than I expected but I had A LOT to say obviously! On a final note: So far I’m really enjoying NutriSystem. It’s hard to not cheat sometimes especially when everyone else is eating not so great stuff but I try to match my dinner with what B is having. i.e. On the first day B had Chicken Alfredo and so did I! Despite it being a little hard this first week the results were TOTALLY worth it! I saw a number on that scale that I haven’t seen in FOUR years. Do you know how amazing that is? I weigh less now than I did when I met B! And in just a couple more weeks I’ll be seeing the 120s which I’m seriously SO SO SO excited for!

    You are doing so wonderful. Keep up the good work and do not eat any milk duds next week! :O) I ate 700 calories in candy yesterday. How gross is that?
