I know I briefly mentioned it in my Things That Got My Goat Post but I felt it deserved a post on it’s own. My Abuelita, my Great Grandmother, Mason’s Great Great Grandmother passed away on November 11th. She was 98 years old.

I think I’m still in shock. We had the wake and the funeral but it still hasn’t hit me, as if it’s not entirely real. She’s been around my entire life and I guess I just sorta thought she always would be. And I guess in a way she will be.

We are so blessed that she got to live as long as she did that she was able to meet numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She has been through so much in her lifetime and I know that she is in a better place embracing the family members who have gone before her. Like my Abuelito and quite a few of her grand children. I know that she is watching over us and praying for us. She is with God now and that’s exactly where she wanted to be.

Abuelita, you will always be missed and you will always be in our hearts.

My Aunt is sending me more pictures that I plan on sharing later, they’re going to be some good ones since a lot of them are from when I was in Middle School and High School!

Because You Love Me Him! 🙂
