How your baby’s growing:
Your baby has really plumped up. He weighs about 6.8 pounds and he’s over 19 1/2 inches long (like a leek). He has a firm grasp, which you’ll soon be able to test when you hold his hand for the first time! His organs have matured and are ready for life outside the womb.
Wondering what color your baby’s eyes will be? You may not be able to tell right away. If he’s born with brown eyes, they’ll likely stay brown. If he’s born with steel gray or dark blue eyes, they may stay gray or blue or turn green, hazel, or brown by the time he’s 9 months old. That’s because a child’s irises (the colored part of the eye) may gain more pigment in the months after he’s born, but they usually won’t get “lighter” or more blue. (Green, hazel, and brown eyes have more pigment than gray or blue eyes.)
So there you have it that’s what’s going on with Bean! I got some stuff done from my Baby Bucket List so check out my Sidebar to see what else I’ve crossed off the list or visit this post and you know what I just realized? That I never crossed off a lot of the things I did get done…must have not transferred over from word 🙁 So I’ll fix that too!
Everything has been going well for me. I still feel good and Bean doesn’t feel like he’s really dropped or anything. The only thing I noticed today was that my left hip was hurting. Oh and I actually just got back from the hospital because I hadn’t really felt Bean move as much as he usually did. And like most children he made a liar out of me because as soon as I got to the hospital I thought I started feeling him squirm but still wasn’t quite sure. Then they hooked me up to the machine and that’s about the time he started break dancing. Oh well, I’m glad I went because I’d rather know he was okay then hope he was okay! And better safe than sorry right?! The nurses made me feel really good about it because you know I was feeling kinda silly. Like I worried for no reason. But the nurses explained that this sorta stuff happens all the time. So Bean in case you’re wondering on your 38th week you scared the hell out of me! Thanks for that!
Baby Belly Pictures to come tomorrow!

I can't believe you are so close. time flies!!! Don't you love it that your baby is already making you look silly 🙂 I remember when Z was a baby he was so sick. He had a fever, was crying, coughing etc. I brought him in and he had no fever and was happy as a clam. The doctor looked at me like was crazy. A few hours after we left his fever spiked and he was miserable again!!! Crazy 🙂
