6 Weeks to Go!!!
According to Babycenter….
Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds (like your average cantaloupe) and is almost 18 inches long. His fat layers — which will help regulate his body temperature once he’s born — are filling him out, making him rounder. His skin is also smoother than ever. His central nervous system is maturing and his lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you’ve been nervous about preterm labor, you’ll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.
Pictures are coming tomorrow! I didn’t want to take them today since I only took the other ones a couple of days ago…I know I need to catch up at some point though!
I’m still feeling good, just BIG! I can’t see my toes when I look straight down (although it’s been like that for a while now) and getting my shoes on is a pain, but B is a big help on that one! So Sweet. Getting up from the couch and out of the car is kinda a pain too but I gotta get up and move sooo I think I can handle it! I can’t wait to meet my little guy but at the same time I can’t believe it’s almost time! I mean I KNEW it was going to go fast, I just didn’t realize how fast! Before I know it he’s going to be here…Me and B are definitely freaking out a little bit, especially B lol.
Just a remind on the sidebar is the link to my Twitter (@LittleBGCG) follow me there for updates once it’s time for the baby to come! And if you could?
Tomorrow I’m going to be posting the Baby Belly Pictures and talking about names, so get ready to throw out some ideas for me 🙂 He’s still nameless…
